Equal parts meticulous and playful, he believes great design should be both functional and fun. When he’s not pushing pixels, you’ll likely find him hiking a trail, exploring the world, or playing games with his wife at a craft brewery, where she occasionally lets him win.

Manticore Games - 02/2018 to 06/1016

During my eight years at Manticore Games, I led the UX/UI team through the design and launch of two major products, balancing product strategy with thoughtful UI execution. My role spanned team leadership, UX direction, interface design, prototyping, visual systems, and cross-discipline collaboration. From shaping complex creator tools to refining player-facing experiences, I helped turn ambitious ideas into usable, polished, and shipped products.

Gree - 11/2016 - 03/2017

As a UX/UI consultant at GREE, I helped shape the player experience by creating wireframes, defining visual direction, and collaborating with an outsourcing team to bring the interface to life. My role included establishing the overall UI style, designing icons, reviewing external deliverables, and making sure the final work stayed aligned, polished, and game-ready.

Fire Giant Entertainment | 10/2016 to 02/2017

As co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Fire Giant Entertainment, I built an indie game studio with three partners and helped guide the studio through development, launch, and all the chaos in between. We released Fumble Fang, a mobile title where I wore an unreasonable number of hats, including UX/UI designer, VFX artist, SFX wrangler, level designer, marketer, promoter, and occasional “please make this thing work” specialist.

At Kabam, I helped ship multiple mobile titles that earned Apple’s Editor’s Choice Award, including The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth, Spirit Lords, and Star Wars: Uprising. My work spanned UX design, UI art, and hands-on interface development, with the added adventure of managing a team of UX designers and artists on Star Wars Uprising

At Microsoft, I worked across a wide range of gaming experiences, from early Games for Windows applications to Microsoft gaming sites, Windows Phone titles, Kinect projects, XBLA releases, and Xbox dashboard apps .  My work included UX design, UI art, interface design, and hands-on development support for projects including Kinect Adventures, Kinect Star Wars and Kinect Fun Labs
